Argh! All of us b-movie reviewers must suffer for our art at one time or another. "Beware! The Blob" (directed by Larry "J.R. from Dallas" Hagman) was the latest cross I had to bear. After a drunken idiot and his equally stupid wife thaw out a sample of the original Blob, the man-eating gelatin from space begins its old shenanigans and starts gobbling up townsfolk left and right. This movie is for adventurous bad movie lovers only.

Yes, I think the DALLAS TV producers were wise to keep this film from being shown for years and years before DALLAS hit the airwaves.  Otherwise, no one would have cared who shot JR.  They'd know why, and the TV audiences would have only been saying, "Good!  Now let's move on..." instead of spending that anxious off-season scratching their heads.

And you have every right to be!  Your refusal to donate any brain-cells to the topic is BY FAR the wiser choice.  For those of us with afflicted family members at the time, however, 'donating brain cells' was a requirement.  And apparently, no exorcism exists to relieve us of our foolish past!  Darn darn darn
