The Autobots and evil Decepticons duke it out in this feature-length animated film. This 84-minute piece of 80's nostalgia features the voice talent of many famous dead folks (e.g. Scatman Crothers, Orson Welles, Robert Stack), an awesome soundtrack, and plenty of violent fun for the whole family! If you've got the touch, and you've got the power, then read my review now!  Cheesy
Here is my review for "Transformers: The Movie" (1986)! Smiley

i used to watch transformers with my son, and and also the TMNT's and g.i. joe (my son later joined the Marines)  i can't believe i have still not seen this movie!  i'll have to get it into my netflix queue)  i'm guessing something bad happens to optimus...good to know, i thought it might in the michael bay version, i seriously would have cried!  Smiley  when he said his line in the movie, "my name is optimus prime", i totally was breathless with excitement!

Definitely check this one out cindy. It's a really cool animated flick. I too enjoyed the live-action film and cheered when Optimus made his on-screen debut. I hope that the villainous Decepticons are fleshed out more as characters in the second film. They just show up in force at the end and get whomped on by the Autobots and U.S. military.

I love this movie!

We have this hanging in our lounge room

Also nice to see they left the swearing in tact for the recent special edition. I can remember everone talking about klnowing some kid that had a copy with the swear word in it when we were kids. It apparently got out in the theatrical release but they caught it and cut it out for the video.

Now, thanks to the glory of DVD, we call all hear Spike say "sh*t".  Grin

Hahahaha. Yeah that was a real shocker back in the day I'm sure. Not sh*t is one of the most frequently used curse words around. I in fact have said it at least 1,000 times today alone.  Wink

That is friggin' awesome that you have the Transformers movie poster in your lounge room! I've got a ton of posters (desperately in need of frames), but the only one I have hanging on the wall in my "movie room" is a reproduction of the old "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" theatrical one sheet.

Oh my boyfriend would KILL for a big Godzilla Poster.

I'm actually in the process of having his 30th birthday present made. I've commissioned an artist in England to paint a picture with my boyfriend and Freddy Krueger in the boiler room for him to hang somewhere in our house.

The guy does great horror art and I'm stoked to see how it;s going to turn out.

I actually have 4 godzilla posters, I really need frames for the other three; they are gorgeous!

And that is freakin' amazing! Your boyfriend is gonna love (or be terrified by) that painting. What a cool idea!  Smiley

LOL. The artist got back to me this morning and said he is going to paint my boyfriend and Freddy having a beer together at a bar. And he said he will paint me in in the background as some seedy tart that hangs out at bars LOL!

haha way off topic now
