This flick is one of the strangest mockumentaries I have ever seen. Masaru Daisatou is a down and out fellow whose life is in shambles. His wife is divorcing him, his house is covered in graffiti, and his neighbors seem to shun him. This is all because Masaru, when jolted with thousands of volts of electricity, turns into a kaiju-fighting hero! The ending of this movie is destined to become legendary and must be seen to be believed.

Here is my capsule review for "Dai-Nipponjin" (2007).
