Note: This is the first of many reviews to make the exodus from the Vault's old haunt at Yahoo Geocities.

"A*P*E" is a cinematic tragedy, as it was conceived, shot, and released in order to ride the coattails of Dino de Laurentis' remake of "King Kong." Unfortunately "Kong" bombed, and resulted in the complete failure of this  U.S. / South Korean rip-off.

Here is my old review for "A*P*E" (1976)!

I never noticed until now that the actor playing Col. Davis is the director of The Screaming Skull and Mickey in the same movie, Alex Nicol!
